WEEK 7 (20/03/2023 - 24/03/2023)
MONDAY, 20TH MARCH 2023 I returned to school after a long break and it's now week 7. Today is the first day of the 2023/2024 session. As always, I was at school at 6:30 in the morning. We started the morning with a school assembly. I followed Ustaz Taufik and gave bookmarks to all students at the school gates. The assembly started at 7:30 and we sang "Lagu Negaraku" , "Lagu Pulau Pinang" and the school song. Following this, Puan Fatimah Salini Binti Jafar, the school's principal, gave a speech. In her speech, she hopes that SMK Bayan Lepas students will be more effective in attendance and academic progress in the 2023/2024 school year. For your information, the Education Minister, Puan Fadlina Sidek has announced that all schools in Malaysia will not hold study and learning sessions during the first week of school.
